Generally speaking, I have trouble designing outfits for characters. I find one and I stick with it like an animated show that never paid enough to animate separate shirts. But I've been practicing over the last month and a half and I think I've made some real progress!

So here's the same kid who was 7 in the first picture and 11 in the second. He's 15 now and has a cool hero outfit of his own. (Picking a color palette is probably the hardest part. And it occurs to me that his skin looks a little lighter than it should here, which is because everything is brighter in this picture. Desaturate some of those outfit colors and darken everything a few shades -- or just put him indoors -- and you'll have a more accurate description of "Regen" as he's calling himself)

There's an x on one sleeve and a green circle on the other to remind him which hand to use in a fight. The superpower I gave this particular character is that with his right hand he can heal others at a molecular level. The problem is, it takes from his own stamina, and if he runs out of stamina it starts converting his molecules to heal the other person.
The left hand, by contrast, has kind of a leech power. It takes stamina and health from another subject and converts it into health for him. If he touches two people at the same time, he can make kind of a closed circuit and transfer health from one to the other with himself as the conduit, but it's really rough on his body.
