I am... super proud of this one, if just because I finished it in about 3 hours. Usually this kind of painting takes closer to 10-15 hours.

I really really want to get better at drawing and painting. I want to get better with anatomy and find a better technique for drawing fur. I think I'm slowly getting the hang of colors and lighting, though of course, there's always room for improvement.

Idk, I'm just really excited about finally being excited to learn things. The last few years have been hard, but I think I'm finally getting to the point where I'm excited about life again.

But enough of my rambling. I still haven't thought of a name for this guy. Tempted to name him Chai, like the tea, if just because I like tea. Also thinking of naming him Chia, but I already have a kukuri named Chia... or maybe I could recycle the name Ion? I had an oc named Ion, but I never did anything with him. Bleh, we'll see.
