Description
Toriyama once did a splash page for DBZ that had Goku and the crew dressed in various old chinese warrior garments. I can only assume it was supposed to be a take on the original characters from Journey to the West, which Dragonball was loosely based on. Anyway, some of them had various animal furs, and Irwin Toys, when they were in business, were actually considering doing figures based on the animal themes including some characters that weren't in that picture, such as an alligator themed Vegeta and a lion themed Trunks. Naturally, Yamcha wasn't planned, so I did my own. I think it looks pretty cool. Yamcha, the wolf-furred mountain man.

On a small note, his garment was actually inspired by a tiny pixellated coat for Regal Bryant from Tales of Symphonia.
