Heya guys!!!
This is my comeback deviation... because I was gone for soooooooo long... So here she is... a deviation just to say that I'm still here... that I still exist .

Babaylan is translated as "priestess"... though her divinity now... is obviously accursed.

She calls herself 'Den Aisha, as the earth spirits call her. But the people call her by the name 'Dei Azcoatl, inlocal dialect.

She was once a revered diviner in the temples of the Meso-Aztecs more than three centuries ago. She worshiped many goddesses... for her belief was matriarchal.
As the years passed, the people stopped worshiping the female gods, and instead worshiped "new" gods... the gods of men and patriarchy... and soon, even belief in the priestess stopped.
Not long after, the Aztecs accused 'Den Aisha of heresy, and called her a witch, because she still believed in female gods. At this, the priestess filled with hate and rage. She performed a ritual to "transform" her into a goddess herself... to become one with the great ones, and to punish the non-believers... but before she could complete her divinations, Aztec soldiers stormed into her temple and attacked. The transformation went horribly wrong... and the wrath of nature entangled the stricken priestess for all eternity...

A grove of sharp and jagged vegetation grew thereon... growing deeper, and deeper.
A thousand years later, her state of torpor ended... and she awoke. Only heaven knows what horrors she has planned for those she will wreak blind vengeance upon.
