Description More of my backyard.

Almost all of the trees have changed their color now, most are a golden yellow up in the woods behind the house. I tromped around for about an hour today taking pictures, many of which I'll likely post to my other site, eventually.

It was nice today, sunny and in the mid 50sF. A very pleasant walk indeed.

Maybe you can sleep out by the creepy cabin up the hill. That would be fun.

It was a pretty day that day. Sadly most of the leaves are down now. But now I'm waiting for the first snow.

Stupid leaves. The nerve of them, all falling down and whatnot. Seems like they just did that last year. I really wish they'd knock that off. (Says the guy that's gotta go rake 'em up and light 'em on fire.)

I'm not touching the ones in the yard until spring. The only leaves I'm raking are the ones on the walk and the porch. Silly trees sleeping naked all winter.

I did that one year. The whole "winter thing" was new to me, being from Vegas. What a soggy, slimy mess that turned out to be.

Yeah, you do need to remove the leaves from any walkways. But here we don't have much yard, just about 10 feet on either side of the house. One direction becomes a huge drop off into a ravine, the other rises up into the woods. So no need really to rake the yard.

mines too. it's so magickal. why don't people fall in love more during autumn than in spring? highly overrated if you ask me.

I'm not fond of spring. The pollen about kills me.

all that hay fever and migraines? same thing in autumn sweetie.

I'm specifically allergic to tree pollen. I do get runny eyes and such in autumn, but it's nothing compared to the onslaught of all the tree blossoms in the spring.

yeah because it's different in spring than it is in autumn. fall has the pollen spitting out but it's dying off so it's still bad. in spring they're being reproduced so you'll have those problems all season and through the summer.
