I am neither an artist nor a French. I've never read the Charlie Hebdo and to be honest, until recently I even did know that such a newspaper exists.
The whole world is currently in turmoil and there is fear, conspiracy theories and lot of other emotions going on.
What affects me personally the most is that 12 people died. And the way how they died.
Also, I am impressed by all the people in the streets, gathered quietly in Paris and other places, holding the Je-suis-Charlie sign. Seeing them, I remember what a French man told me once about the Gallic rooster. He said: the French picked the rooster as a symbol because it is the only bird who still sings while standing in s**t. These quietly protesting people reminded me of that. They could shout, break things, fight but they don't.

I hope this whole tragedy will lead to something more impressive. It is not about religion. It is about some cold-blooded morons who should be put back into their place. There is no excuse to kill someone for a vague reason. At least not in a civilized world.

PS: People who are not able to make fun of things they like, don't love them enough.
