Description This piece is a combination of pauldrons and gorget. I created this for my paladin D&D cosplay and hadn't posted a finished picture yet. This is my favorite armor piece to date and I love how it turned out! Designed by me, hand cut, tooled, shapes, dyed, and painted then set with gold glitterstone.

Oh My God! I love this. Your signature microscales look amazing on this. Is this going to be a full suit eventually? Perhap> The color and design is just awesome!

It is part of my paladin costume right now. I am gonna redo the breastplate eventually and complete gauntlets and a helmet to match but the legs and the tassetts match already. I have some pictures up in my gallery you should check it out.

how did you make that? I'm still trying to figure out how to make armor.

I made a pattern first and then cut it out with leather, tooled the leather first with the designs, molded them with water and let them dry. Then I used a alcohol based leather dye to harden and form a base color. Painted the items, riveted them where needed and then sealed it with an art sealing coat.

Did you make the pattern out of paper?

And what kind of tools may I ask did you use?

Just various leather working hand tooling stuff to obtain the designs. I can't remember the exact numbers right now plus a swivel knife. And I made the pattern out of poster board.

Oh Poster board. I know where to get that stuff. A swivel knife and I'll just type in leather working hand tools to find the rest.

Ok thank you.
