Any time; I used to run one in my team, they can be rather legit if one gets past their rather odd appearance.

Oh and I can. I think I threw mine into the pc because I got a legendary dragon and I was like "two dragon types in my team and no ice types? Sorry weird knobbly dragon thing, I'm putting you in the pc and keeping the legendary dragon with the giant erection"

I never cared much for legendaries; I always saw them as "cheating." That's why I have a Weavile on my team, as almost all legendaries are either psychic or dragon, and I can just about one hit both of those with her.

That's a rad plan. Of course I'm one of those horrible people who picks their team based on looks, and I never liked weavil's design too much.

But.... Weavile is BEAUTIFUL. I go for stats and then looks. I end up running some of the more, "undesirables" I guess (Come on, Golem has AMAZING power, it's not his fault his artist was horrible) but I tend to think that generally at least, I don't run the hideous pokemon (lookin' at you Scrafty...)

Usually the 'if jhall likes it it must rock' rule works for me. Wasn't golem's designer the original designer? I don't think weavile is a bad design, it's just not a personal favorite

I see where you are coming from.

Quite frankly, most of the original design's weren't exactly brilliant. I'd say design peaked around 3rd Gen, and then started to fall off, but that's just my humble opinion.
