Ah- I don't know why, but I find it really sweet and touching.
The contrast between foreground and background is great, and the tones work really well.
I like the off-centre focusing, but the thing that I love the most is the subject. It's quite tender in the relationship (In my opinion >_> )
For a spontaneous potrait, it's very well done
