Yay another Legend Of Spyro character! For the fanfiction and I are working on.

Lustrous may have a nice soft backstory, be a nice cute dragoness, and may have a simple but elegant design but Sandstorm is the exact opposite. Sandstorm has the most heartbreaking origin I have ever created for any of my OCs. Her design is meant to look rough and damaged, just like her backstory.

Sandstorm is a sand dragon (duh) and was born to a caring family of farmers but at the age of 6 she was kidnapped by a small group of evil thieves/crook farmers. Her family was devastated and looked for her everywhere but she was never found. Sandstorm was then forced to become a slave, she was beaten, cut, tortured, sexually abused, and forced to work every single day until her feet bleed. Little did her abusers know the work made Sandstorm very powerful in both her element and physical strength, at the age of 16 she was powerful enough to break from her shackles and instead of running away, she murdered every one of them in their sleep. Sandstorm ran off into the cities and eventually became a drifter bounty hunter to survive. She never decided to go back to her family because she didn't want them to see what she had to go through or what she became. In the fanfiction Spyro and Cynder will seek the help of a powerful sand dragon and that is where Sandstorm (now age 22) comes in. Personality wise Sandstorm is an introvert, she doesn't let people know of her past and she gets very angry when people do ask but in battle she is a master because she brings a fierceness and strength a lot of characters don't have. She also suffers from PTSD, which is why I call her "unstable".

I love Sandstorm. I may have tortured this character far but the point of it was to create a very different character (anti-hero) for the story and to give Sandstorm her own journey for this story. I believe telling different stories within a large story helps give a huge scale ensemble piece a bit of balance. Asked for the actual artwork I feel like I'm improving, the lineart has been getting more clean and I feel I did a good job capturing slave, bounty hunter and sand dragon all in one. Anyways I'm proud of this character and think she will bring a lot to the story.
