Description When Jarmundur, Sin and Shadra passed through the portal, they landed in a dark cave, or rather it was a crypt. Apart from the small pond they seemed to have emerged from, after switching on their lights, Shadra could see ancient engravings in the pale stone, showing a large dragon with antlers reaching for the sun over a broad land with forests and lakes. The paintings went on around the room. Instead of looking at them Jarmundur directly went looking for an direct exit, which he did eventually in form of a tunnel passage that seemed in a way worse shape. Going through it showed it was probably as old but not built from the same pristine stone. It seemed more like a provisory mining tunnel, but Shadra noticed that the paintings stopped at this point, instead ancient writing were put into the parts of the walls that were stone. While Shadra tried to make something of the writings, she didn't notice that Jar and Sin stayed further into the tunnel. In small splitting paths everything was filled with what seemed to be human remains, in the corridor itself there were preserved human bodies sitting upright, all forming the same hand gesture, that Sin wasn't familiar with. Thinking about the paintings it did resemble antlers somewhat. The light eerily created dancing shadows that looked like they weren't the only ones moving through this path anymore.

They were about to reach the city of El'azar.

In this one you can see all three characters, you have Sin in the foreground holding the lantern behind him is Jarmundur and Shadra can be seen in the distant end of the tunnel.
These three belong to Acayth and are part of our story project. The chapter was a really good fit for the prompt so I gave it a try.
