a tribute to my grandmother, who has just passed away..

my grandmother seem to put more attention in me being the only grandson from a son. in my tradition that means i'm the only one who could passed down our family name. the continuation of our legacy lies in my hand. but that doesn't mean that she only care for me. she care for others also but she add a little 'extra' for me. i spent a lot of my childhood time with her. i could say she's been an important part in my life. as time goes by it gets harder to meet each other. the only occasion we'll go to grandma's house (we're separated by about 1,700 kms if i'm not mistaken) is in the holy month of Ramadhan, which then will be followed by celebrating Idul Fitri together. and even with that once in a year occasion, we're not always able to make it each year. the last time i visit her is last year's Ramadhan and that's the last time i saw her..

she has been a great grandmother to me. may God gave her the best place in His side.
