I always thought RWBY resembled Yugioh GX in a way. There's a teenager wearing red who really wants to go into an academy that teaches you a skill which runs the world, a professor is what gets the kid in (somehow), the kid has a fuzzy companion, there are eccentric teachers, kid + group wander off to do missions not approved by the school, the viewer can predict fight outcomes for plot + main character purposes, and of course, MONSTERS!

RWBY and Yugioh GX predicted each other. RWBY-oh! GX predicted itself. I would definitely like to see Ruby and Jaden/Judai meet each other; they seem like they'd be able to relate to each other a lot.

I busted out laughing, it's been a while since I last saw a Yu Gi Oh reference. It's even funnier since Ozpin's and Oscar's situation is very similar to Yugi's, makes you wonder.

This is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. And very clever. 
I can imagine Weiss challenging Ruby to a duel just at the second day of school, then Myternaster turns into Weiss's own custom duel disk.
Ruby would like reply "Hah. You're not the only one with a fancy duel disk Weiss. Watch this!" Ruby then throws Crescent Rose in default mode in the air, everyone watches as Crescent Rose unfolds into its duel disk form.
Ruby then slides her arm into an arm slot as Crescent Rose drops down, and out comes the ICONIC line, "ITS TIME TO DUEL!"
Nonetheless, this comic is amazing.

I summon Summer Rose in attack mode!! ATK:1900 DEF:1200 I place the field spell "red like roses" and put 2 cards face down. I end my turn.....

From my hand I activate Pot of Greed which allows me to draw 2 additional cards, then I summon Yang Xiao Long in attack mode! ATK:1500 DEF:1700 but that's not all I put 3 cards face down. I end my turn!

I active the CFVY card, this allows me to special summon 2 faunas tokens from my deck. Next I sacrifice those tokens to play Ghira Belladonna in defence mode ATK:2400 DEF: 2100. I draw to end my turn.Β
