I thought that Qrow's scythe would be easier to draw 50 times over. Y'know, like an idiot!This is the last related to RWBY I had to animate. So if anyone had any ideas then shout em out!

I totally was thinking of Ryuko when I drew it! Although her sword has a loop around the handle so it'd be actually physically possible unlike a scythe.
As for how long? Let's say too long and leave it at that. When I started it I didn't really know what I was doing and I wasn't confident using paper to animate with so I animated the whole thing digitally, then printed out my digital frames and traced them on paper. It was an extremely stupid thing to do but I could do the whole thing much faster now.

As for ideas, maybe Weiss using a glyph, or Blake switching between pistol and katana modes with Gambol Shroud? Something using their weapons, like with this.

I'd get round to doing those eventually. I actually have an unfinished animatic for this short little fight scene where each of them would show off their weapons that I can't finish because my laptop wouldn't be able to handle the size.
For now though I'm more interested in things that I can turn into visual jokes like the others.

As for comedy, you could have Team RWBY in a winter environment, with Ruby, Blake, and Weiss making a snowgrimm; but, then Yang walks up to join in, melting all the snow in her path. R, W, and B would, of course, be heart broken.

Its not really an issue. It's just that photoshop on my laptop is only powerful enough to render about 6 seconds of straight video. Although there's also the fact that it'd take me a crazy long time to finish with my current equipment and skill level.
I was very disappointing that Roosterteeth never did a Rwby christmas thing. It seems so obvious to me. Could have easily slipped it into season 4. I can picture Ruby's heartbroken face at a melted snowman!
