How do you categorize the image that you used on the cards? Roman? Greek? Photo? Book engraving? It's phenomenal!

i read (and write)constantly for of one thing, lots of poetry (such as haiku) and other many other topics...i also enjoy the way particular words sound next to each other and like play around with their meanings and context... i also love being outside and away from the constant bombardment of technology, this allows me to notice things that are often ignored by others...the intricate beauty of a fallen leaf and the patterns within the colors and veins still amaze me...i will sit on the front steps just before a storm and watch the lightning flicker off in the distance and then embrace the slight tremble of the thunder when it arrives.... thereβs no real secret to the way i write...i bring what i know and have experienced so far in life, both good and bad. i see things in pieces and usually go with my first impression in most cases, when commenting on art, Iβll write something down then go back an edit by shifting the words or lines around until it says exactly what i was thinking...

I read also a lot and I write (in french) for my job at the museum of course. But writing for an exhibition's catalogue is not the same. I think one day I've lost the sens of poetry. I became lazy and I stopped writting a journal or sending letters to my friends !!!

that can be corrected. start writing again (force yourself if need be) but write something everyday...the comments i write here on DA might take more time than most would want to spend
but i enjoy what i'm doing and i try to make what i write meaningful and unique. i do not write professionally (which may be obvious) but apart from the varoius modes of art that i work with i have no other means of communicating my thoughts and impressions so i'll write something then reword it slightly to suit my way of thinking...

You're right. I must find the courage to write again. I hope this will again become a source of joy. Thanks for your encouragement !
