after thinking about this image and your commentary for several days now, all I’m able to do is chuckle and shrug my shoulders... I like the composition of the image, but I’d have cropped the vegetation in the lower left corner.. it takes away from the rest of the sky and space around the building.

You're a 100% right; when editing it I wanted the building to be centered as I liked the clouds composition and the strong contrast between the light and shadow. The trees on the right are 'structurally soft' and I kind of liked that too. But that left corner is just accidental and there's no justifying it, beside, you know, the 'meh' feel. Now I feel like I've got to spend the required two minutes and a half to edit it or I'm just being too lazy for my own sake aha (:
