'Kay, this is my part of trade with awesomeLet's say yes to ugly anatomy. It's pretty hard for me to draw skinny character so I absolutely killed Kurai. Sorry.

Well as I heard creativity is first and then goes technique but you shouldn't forget about technique. It's important and you're lucky to have an opportunity to learn how to draw well.
I didn't learn anywhere and look at me, I suck.

except that the shoulder part seems a bit long (looks like scapula ends in the middle of the upper front leg) I think you did a great work with the anathomy

Yes, I agree with you. The character is really skinny and his anatomy is a little bit different from wolves but still now I see something is wrong.

yea, when skinny, a lot of bones and muscles becomes more visible <<' I think his anathomy looks kinda like a tad fluffy grey hound but I may be waay out of track xD

You did wonderful! And I love that boxed background, one of my favorite background themes. It's really a wonderful Kurai!
And I feel like an idiot for not having your half done sooner, but unfortunatly, this...problem with Thanksgiving Vacation has got me tied up. I have no tablet, and the WiFi here is iffy. One moment it's there, the next it's not. But I promise I will have it done! I'll be sure to make it extra special. Me and my procrastination can't be tolerated any longer!!!

Boxed backgrounds are the best anyways, they seem to give the viewer something more, like they have to search for all those details, and it has a sense of...wholeness to it.
I was working on my half this morning, I felt guilty not even taking a stab at it, but then yesterday, when I was watching one of the billion Land Before Time movies, I sketched something out, and I really like it.
I may even tag you back on the boxed background, because it was so nice.

I really like artist that don't use a digital media. I prefer hand drawn colored pencils such as this. Very nicely done ^^
