A poster of new main characters for Melody of the Moon 2.

Darien (Sailor Moon) The same as the original but more close to the manga. He's more of returning and joining the group to save his lover, Serena.

Sly Cooper (Sly Cooper series) - The same as the original. While mention in the first story, he does not appear until now after he and the Cooper Gang return after the news of Mozenrath's defeat. Sly joins Wing to not only help but to protect her.

Star Butterfly (Star vs. the Forces of Evil) - The same as the original only more mature. She is the princess of Mewni, a neighboring kingdom of Moonlight Town. She joins the group due to worrying the villain could end up targeting her family. Along the way, she teaches Akko a few spells from the Magic Book of Spells despite Moon's refusal and she befriends with Selene's personality Hime, both having similar personalities.

Marco Diaz (Star vs. the Forces of Evil) - The same as the original. Star's best friend, sidekick, and squire. He tags along to protect Star and keep her out of trouble.

Tsubomi/Cure Blossom and Chypre (Heartcatch Pretty Cure) - The same as the originals. Tsubomi is a new worker at the shop and joining the group is her first big mission. She's also a friend of Wing and Erin's. Chypre is Tsubomi's fairy partner who treats her like a big sister figure.

Klonoa (Klonoa the series) - Same as the original. He had showed up the night of the sailor scouts' disappearing, trying to stop them from being taken. He claims at he was send to Moonlight Town by Yuko, much to Watanuki's and Wing's surprise. He joined the group out of feeling he is partly to blame for the Sailor Scouts getting kidnapped and hopes to set things right.

Janna (Star vs. the Forces of Evil) - Same as the original. She helped Daffy sneak into Mewni with her and then along with the group. Like Daffy, she's more of a load and seems interest in Akko as a witch. But she becomes helpful at times.

Deku (My Hero Academia) -As a puppy in this AU. Was founded by Sly in Thief of the Moon, Deku allowed the group to try to help the best he could. Some characters like Wing can understand him completely while others can't.

Wolfrurun, Oninin, and Majorin (Smile Pretty Cure) -A trio of fairies who have been staying between the Cooper gang, Watanuki's shop, and Wing's apartment after the events of Thief of the Moon. They sneaked into Akko's bag before the group left to Mewni and try to help the best they can.
