From The BFFLs in Weirdoland, Ch 27 , after accidentally hurting Stolas' feelings due to Blitz threatening her and Alyssa not assume he and Stolas are an item and she was under pressure of missing Scarecrow SG and Chuck's wedding, ready for a fight, and talking to Red Kingdom, she apologized knowing it was not an excuse for being cold. She just wanted to be more open-minded about homosexuality due to still being new at it at the time.

Erin: “…Look, I’m under a lot of pressure and I was threatened my life. I just wanted to see if you two were a couple because…” (pushing her bangs back and fighting back tears out of guilt for hurting Stolas’ feelings) “I want to be more open-minded about love between men. I’ve done it on women but men… still a working progress.” (She sniffed a little) “But it also doesn’t excuse how I just acted to you too either…”

Stolas uses a handkerchief to dry Erin’s eyes.

Erin: “…I’m sorry.”

Stolas: “Shh, shh. I forgive you for your insensitivity.”

Erin: “R-really?”

Stolas: "If it makes us both feel better, would you like to hear my side of the story?”

Possibly one of my favorite bonds between Erin and Stolas (aside him telling his story about how he met Blitz in Weirdoland) is him drying her eyes with a handkerchief to show how gentle he was to those he cares about. It might also happen in other stories and AUs too.
