Oh my goddd Q_Q I absolutely adore this! It's like a scene that never existed but which I never knew I wanted to see so badly.
also I just realized how this kinda reminds me of the relationship Daniel and his little sister Hazel had: Hazel was fatally ill and Daniel tried to make her feel better. Isn't that a bit like the relationship between Daniel & Alexander; Daniel was haunted by the Shadow and Alexander tried to protect him from it. The only difference being that Alexander was only pretending.
