Visiting a different era of sci-fi and having some fun. I have always loved the extreme and fantastic about this genre. Sci-fi is at its best when it is over the top and amazing. We were supposed to have flying cars and bases on the moon by now, can we get back on that track again, please?

Your welcome hon!   I am done with my decorating.  The tree is up and the outside lights are up.  All my out of town X-mas prezzies are bought and wrapped.  Just need to do a few more in town gifts and I will be done! weeeeee! lol  I got a good start on it this year!  It's been so cold out too.  Highs in the 60's F.   Brrrr! ha ha  How is your Christmas Decorating going?  Have you guys had any snow yet?  I always think of you when I see snow!   Happy Holidays sweetie!

It is unusually warm here No snow, just rain. We had some for about a week in november, but nothing after that.  But all the decorations are up and all the presents are wrapped and I am working on my X-mas image . I am just waiting for Santa

We had a warm October and November too!  It's finally cooling down to the 70's now! Yay!  Can't believe no snow for you guys?  Yay!  Me too!  Finished everything up and just waiting for Santa! He he weeeeeeee!!

The feel is so Buck Rodgers! 

Love the old time superman style outfit to include the wrinkles in all the right spots. 

What caught my eye was the lighting on the robots. Gave them just enough to not be silhouettes but to still give them that mysterious, menacing feel.

Thank you, Peter! You are always so kind. I kind of had to hide the robots because I just threw them together in a hurry. I knew what kind of silhouette I wanted, but what you see is really what you get. They have no hip or lower body, not even an elbow I found great inspiration in old vintage book covers and I love Space Opera

Well, it worked out brilliantly! 

I like a good space opera as well. I have most of the Star Wars books (except for the new ones since Disney bought them out) and the EE Doc Smith Lensman series.
