Vidar Henley

Born 186 AA in Core, Venice.

Vidar Henley is a Venetian Police Inspector who has a past in the military. Born into a wealthy life as the son of Peter and Samantha Cavendish, he was expected to go into politics like his father. Instead, he joined the military academy, as do most Venetians, and continued a career in the service. He became a pilot to his parents' great disappointment. He changed his name because he was afraid that 'Cavendish' would give him unwanted advantages. His family considered this an insult and answered by shutting him out completely. Vidar did not talk to his family for years, but as time passed the hard feelings cooled off and they slowly started to reconnect.

After a few years in the military he joined the police force and has now worked himself up to Inspector. He is completely devoted to his work which has affected his personal life. He has never been married and has a lot of crashed relationships behind him.

He is very content with his work and has no desire to go any further up in the police force.
