Looking out of my Nan's kitchen window at around 6:30am, through a dirty window, flyscreen and with my crappy 4mp camera.HDR.

that is true...guess what? the shot that i made that i titled fire and ice is shot using a 1.3 megapixel cam, and that was like 6 yrs ago! lol...overall, im satisfied with the results and u also have to consider if u had fun with ur pic as well...

You know...creativity is not having a reflex camera with 10 mega pix, a macro lent, a wide zoom lent ...but having a shit camera with only a small zoom lent, and passing all the problems you may find by it use

It's not the camera that's crappy - it takes wonderful shots, such as this one, when used by one who has the talent to "see" a great picture. The camera is only a tool, and you use it well! Check out some of what I've been able to shoot with my "crappy" little 3.2 megapixel, 3 year old, Canon Digital Elph - a camera that looks like it could "only" take snapshots...

Very true. I agree with that, but I didn't really adore this image at first, and I guess I used the "crap camera" excuse to reassure myself. I am seriously doubting my "ability" some days, so I get like that (like I am right now *sigh*) But the more I see this photo, the more I like it
