My boyfriend has been growing his hair out and then complaining about it, but i think long hair is adorable, so i keep urging him not to cut it, and recenly I've been drawing pictures of Attis with huuuuge antlers, so he made this connection. Lol and so was born the cannon that Attis has big antlers most years, but he prefers to cut/shave/file them down for conveniences sake much to Aries' horror!

Also for those of you who didnt know the difference between horns and antlers:
Horns are almost "limbs" they are present at birth called "buds" and start growing as soon as the animal is born. Within a week most horn buds break the surface of the skin and are visible. They stay with the animal for the entirety of it's life and grow until maturation, and sometimes continue to grow after that. They have blood flow inside of them, and are incredibly hard to remove safely once grown in. It is not uncommon for horns to break at the tips, but they do not regrow. Most animals species that posses horns see horns in both male and female counterparts.

Antlers do not appear in most species UNTIL maturation, and are not present until that age. They grow rapidly for a year and then for some species fall off naturally at the end of a mating season. While most species just lose theirs in fighting during these matign seasons. Antlers usually only appear in males. The antlers are filled with marrow and become hollow as they age, they are meant to be temporary.

Just so you understand why Aries and Attis' horns/antlers are different, and why hers are still so small, but his regrow every year and have to be filed down (:
