This is my first attempt at learning to draw hair better. I focused on the hair and not too much on the face and background. I kinda got caught up in the fan but broke myself from it. Let me know what you think.Reference Photo: By normlifebabystock [link]

I have a soft spot for dark-haired ladies with fans (I used to be a flamenco dancer). Wonderful job on the hair and the fan is very intricate and nicely done as well!

^-^ Luckily, she's a sucker for the camera, so all i have to do is tell her this way or that...I was able to get many more pictures of her, I just gotta cleam them up a bit ^-^

my dear you are doing fine. you have plenty of time to perfect yourself. you are off to a good start. With DA and the internet you have an unlimited supply of resources. Just keep yourself inspired. I have faith in you. I wish i could fast forward about 5 years and show you how good you are going to be. Just trust me on that. You will improve so much in a few years if you just stay with it. Experience is priceless. I really enjoy looking back and seeing my own improvement.

well yeah I am improving very fdast I guess.. lookin at my works from a year ago I did improve much more than I expected.. not mentionin that i'm more able to draw things from my mind now.. not mentionin I found a way to get my self some moeny by drawing to pplz portraits of themselfs.. it's not tha great pay.. it's l;ike 20$ or less for the portrait.. but it's a start!

my signature...ha ha ha....I worked my ass off to get that. practice practice practice. You know my signature on checks and legal document is totally different. you can bearly read it.
