To celebrate Thirty Seconds to Mars' new album, I created this illustration. I wanted to challenge myself by not featuring any of the band members, but still speak to the message of the album. So I came up with this flower system. Each flower was created with the 3 colors (+1 more from the album cover) provided by this game thing. [link]

LOVE: Bleeding Heart... what better way to show love than with hearts?

LUST: Delphinium... beautiful, but poisonous, which lust is capable of.

FAITH: Lotus... a flower that goes hand-in-hand with Hinduism/Buddhism, especially appropriate since some of the album's recording was done in India.

DREAMS: Kadupul... a very rare flower that only blooms at night, the time when dreams occur.
