this is a great sculpture. Im currelntly researching a lot about Gilgamesh and the Sumerian culture. If you happen to do Enkidu how are you going to go about capturing the wild side of him?

This is a tremendous piece of work. I'm in awe of it!
As an aside, *thank you* for representing Gilgamesh as he should be.
You have no idea how disappointing is is to do a search for my favorite Sumerian hero and all I see is anime shit.
(promise I wont rant about anime...this time - lol)

Gilgamesh was the second king , of a 7th Sumerian city whose name was Uruk which was established after the Noah fload, and he was semi god, warrior hero, and Enkidu was the his best friend, gods sended him to GΔ±lgamesh, but GΔ±lgamesh and Enkidu fought again ts the holy things belongs to god. Therefore Gods taked a revenge from him, and they killed Enkidu, after these events GΔ±lgamesh desperated and he started to seek immortality, on the summarize GΔ±lgamesh legend about the his journey and adventures also this legend was accepted the first novel in the mankind history. (in my sculpture, he didnt accept his destiny and natural rules ,and stand alone against everything, it is a symbol of rebellious souls.)

what I meant was how it was put together, yes it's Gilgamesh and yes it's bronze(I believe) but the way he is put together with all those hollows makes it almost modern? I'm sorry if I got my definitions wrong?

Holy crap this statue is awesome, I like the Epic of Gilgamesh, I think that everyone should read it, I hope that they make a 300/Beowulf style movie out of the epic, it would totally work since Gilgamesh is a pretty strong guy with animalistic charm and with little intelligence: he pissed off a goddess because he slept with women about to get married and killed a celestial bull! How badass is that!
Oh and Gilga-Giru-Gilgam...
GIRUGAMESH!!!

Girugamesh is a japanese band [link] . The Girugamesh guy is an actor who plays a fan of the band. How do you get the "i" without the dot on top? like Δ± ?
