Ha ha. I don't know whats up with the title.Random thing I worked on today. I am trying to get better with my patterns. I can't tell if I am -__-.

i think the blue pattern works because there isnt any obvious orentation of the pattern. The pik shirt and pattern on the side bag work too. but the pattern on the skirt and boots feel flat and give the picture the feeling that it's made out of scrap book paper. thats ok if thats what your going for, but if you want it to look more realistic, your going to have to take the time to draw in those patterns yourself.

I really wasn't going for realistic. If I was I would have done shading instead of leaving it flat.
I guess it looks a little like my art project. But really, it was just practice putting patterns into a picture.

oh by the way ive noticed that youve been getting more stylized in your drawings. i dont know, but they seem different than how ive seen you draw in the past.

yeah the lines, and really the whole layout of some of your drawings youve cg'd lately. it feels more streamlined to me.

what i mean is, you go less for a detail oriented look, and your lines are smoothed over. the way you drew the hands and feet is an example. you use flat pattens, it all gives a modern and slightly cartoony feel.

well, i didnt say it was bad! i just meant that i noticed you were starting to use a new look. it was just an observation.
