The rain seems never-ending, it is rare to listen to the voice of the youth as they play nearby, no longer those the fire keep us warm at night, no longer the smiles are ever-lasting. I have tried to fight away the thoughts of pain and tears, I have prevailed to continue alive until today. Tell me, at what cost? At what cost? I have done my share of creation, destruction, peace and war, I have made the world crumble at my feet before but now it is different. In the past I burnt cities, I wrecked havoc amongst the lesser. I did all which I wished for and no one stood against me, but as times flow and change so does the heart and mind. I know I have lost my touch, my hands no longer in sync with my thoughts, no tears from these eyes even though the heart aches and breaks.

Up to this day I still go by many names, only one face, living in lies I created in the past to hide from the present just to see the future last. There is nothing inside of me, there is just an empty shell that fills slowly with a new feeling.

I have been sleeping for so long... Have I forgotten?

Before I come undone or break, or if I wake up from this lie. Can you do me a favor? Can you gather my things and place them by the fire? Can you smile upon me one last time before it is my time?
