Description Here is an anachronous map of the various Latin Empires in world history. I may add Napoleon's short-lived empire as well, but given how brief its existence was, I may decide against it. These are free-source maps taken from Wikipedia, merged together somewhat roughly. The coloration is a bit messed up in places with the overlap of multiple empires ruling the same place at different times, but the point was to show all of these empires, not any single one of them.

Shown here are the Roman, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian Empires. Obviously, few of these states were at their full extent anywhere near the same time, but maps tend to show empires at their peak, not their development. All of these states were run by people whose culture, language, and customs ultimately derived from Latium in central Italy, the area around Rome. I didn't include Romania, being too small and never having a true empire of its own.

Also, on a minor note, the land on which the Latin Empire itself stood is covered by the green of the Roman Empire, and I didn't count it separately. For those who don't know, the Latin Empire was a short-lived crusader state established in Greece and the vicinity after the Crusader attack on Constantinople in 1204.

EDIT: Added Southern Argentina and Chile.

Come on Romania, pick up the slack!
PS. I thought Patagonia remained unconquered? (I know the Spanish maintained a de jure claim, at least...)

It eventually was settled by Argentina, which is Romance-Speaking (Spanish, obviously), so I threw it in anyway. Plus, a de jure claim is enough, if no one contests it. Well, no one who could make a difference, at least.

And he was Coriscan, really. And he was of Tuscan descent.

His empire lasted a few short years.
