No. He has little power if he cannot copy a super power from someone else. If he is near a superhero, he can copy their power.

still his personality is very complex he started with a edward scissor hands thing now he thinks hes god

The later versions of Amazo sucked. I remember reading a comic once with Amazo turning gold and flying off. I wonder what happened to it.
