Description
Had a chance to finish the painting during the holidays. What do you think?
Painted digitally in Corel Painter with color adjustments and final unsharp mask filter done in Photoshop CS. A few different forest photos were loosely referenced, and my 5yo son was kind enough to pose as the troll 
Already thinking of the next painting: should I this time record the painting process and do a time lapse video of it?

.. mysterious but somehow heavy.. your trees have bums and distorted branches.. they give a vibe of an aged but serene forest by the virtues of morning light..

I think that a time lapse video would be lovely. I really like the way you convey light in your digital paintings and I generally enjoy these time lapse painting drawthrough videos.
