Description
Practicing a more loose style than normally. I especially paid attention to having both soft and hard edges, plus using neutral grey next to warm color to make an illusion of cold colors.Painted in about three hours with Corel Painter X.

I'm a real fan of your style. The old man is constructed of what would seem a few brushed up lines, yet they tie in together well, creating his hair, and details on his face such as his wrinkles and expression. power power power, of light, quite 3D as I allow the image to control me.... nice hard fast brush strokes, raw to the core but unlike the subject, deep deep deep in the long walk of his life. just love the light on the nose, old style art is the timeless triangle past never.
