Wow, this is great! I love the color and the shading. Did you paint it in that color, or change it after-the-fact?

I painted it in that color -- I don't even know why, it was a random color that I picked for the preliminary sketch and then decided that I liked and that might look better than black. So yeah.

It looks good! I wouldn't have thought to do that - I would have spent a good hour trying to convert it back to black. XD

Eheh. Corel makes it easy to change the colors of monochrome things. At least sometimes. It's kind of a screwy program.

I bet there's some easy way to adjust things on PS, but I haven't the slightest idea what it is. After one-too-many times paintbucketing in green lines or something, I just started doing my preliminary sketches in black with opacity on...

I have no idea what I'm doing on Corel half of the time. XD I tend to use way too many layers, though, so I can just get rid of layers if they bother me.

I can't figure out Corel's layers - they make things transparent when I don't want them transparent.

And then they won't make things transparent when you want them to. I still use it, though, just because I'm still figuring out how Photoshop works. (That program is complicated. -_- As it's supposed to be, but still.)

Right! Oh, I can give you tips for photoshop if you have any specific questions! I don't know complex stuff, but I can get it to do as I want.

Heh, I'm glad you like him. The red was kind of random, actually -- I do my preliminary sketches in random colors, so I used that one and then was like "...Huh. I think I'm going to use this, actually." I've been working on drawing faces a bit...
