Description I have a lot of catching up to do on here, a lot of images to post, comments to reply to, groups to submit to, you name it.
I'm sure most of you already know enough about the Panzer 3, so I'm going to gloss over that and instead have an overdue discussion.

My 3 week haitus was a little unexpected, and while it was good to be back I only posted the latest drawings on instagram. With that there are a lot of tanks to do, for the northwestern front series and the suggestions from earlier this year, like the belgian tank destroyer, the m88 recovery vehicle, ect ect.

And on top of that, more awesome suggestions hit my DMs constantly, Like the finish panzer IV, the ram mk 3, and tons more.
Pair that with the time it takes me to complete a drawing, and I'm very over my head. You guys notice that whenever I upload frequently, those drawings seem lesser quality than the normal ones?Β

So how can I do both? How can I get the "wowza" feeling and in a good time frame too? I think it's possible, I just haven't found out how. Seriously, compare the semovente and KB-1 drawings to that Jagdpanzer IV, the drop in quality is embarrassing.

Some people tell me that if I upload more I could have a lot more followers, but I'm much more concerned with making the best content I can. I want these illustrations to be able to serve as references themselves.

I played around with other styles too, and I decided that I am going to keep using all of them. But for most drawings I like the noseless characters more. The concept of focusing on the tank, with the characters kind of being lego minifigures in a way just speaks to me. For uniforms and the rest, a fully detailed style is the best way to go(like with the WACs).

The biggest thing I decided to focus on was the vehicles themselves, the tracks, the wheels, the suspensions, making the lineart thinner and the proportions a lot more realistic.

The shadow lighting also needs a lot of work, I'm sure you can tell.

With all of that out of the way I'm working on a comic! Oorah!Β

Looks like the tank commander is getting pissed from waiting for someone to make the decision on whether to pull out or not.Β  The two infantrymen are having an argument over some tactical situation while the officer sitting in front of the tank seems to be wondering if they're anywhere on the map, or he just can't read it correctly.

Tank commander seems to be thinking "How the heck am I going to win the 'Ze Var' with this crew?" XD

Good luck with all of the projects!

Yay he's back....and a good one at that!
Let me guess, dude on the left's name is Jayne, being told off by Captain Mal for bringing grenades again!?!

This must be one of those sold to JapanΒ  but taken back near the end of the war due to shortages.

Actually, the 'crossed Y' stood for the 16th Panzer Division (November 1940 - May 1945).Β  They were reserve for the assault on Yugoslavia and Greece but didn't actively take part; their first offensive was Barbarossa - the Axis invasion of the Soviet Union - where they were part of the southern push to Stalingrad.Β  The original 16th Panzer Division was encircled and destroyed there on February 2nd 1943.Β  The division was reformed, serving in Italy from June to November 1943; it got caught in the Allied landings there and lost over half of its effectives.Β  After being withdrawn in November of 1943, they were off to the Eastern Front again, where they ran the gauntlet of most of the Soviet offenses until their surrender in May of 1945.

Bought it but never collected it. >.>

The Japanese had a bit of a history when it came to that, most of the German hardware they bought they either couldn't collect, or they lost in transit...
