He's broken and I can't fix him, so right now I don't have a choice.
I'm remaking him from scratch, but right now I'm taking a breather from PMD... I just got so angry and upset when he broke (I accidentally saved OVER his ONLY backup) I threw a tantrum and actually started crying so much. I don't want to see that happen again over something so trivial.

Though, I'd like to believe that, many people only do care about my models. I can tell with some of the comments I receive. It's upsetting to say the least.

I don't know how much my two cents are going to matter, but I'll give them to you anyways.
Personally, I find that quitting is cowardly. If you don't think yourself good enough, then try harder to get better. Practice makes perfect. One lost model is only a small bump in the road to MMD perfection. Personally, from my MMD experience, I have learned that there is always a way to fix something. Always. If you ever get stuck, just ask for help. There are plenty of users out there willing to help, including me.
Also, if you claim you are "obviously no good at it" then you are blind. Blind as a bat, I'd have to say. Just take a look at what your friend have to say about what you do, they'll tell you the same thing; that your models are fantastic.
But, those are just my thoughts.

It's not just about this one lost model.
It's the fact that recently I made a model for someone and they completely edit raped it without my consent. Then they claimed that they had made the entire thing and didn't even credit me in the least.
I'm sick and tired of being taken for granted. I can hardly even churn out a pretty picture, and that's when I try hard. But I really am no good at it. The polygons almost always are never attached. Their bones suck and their physics are worse. Then there's the dreaded vertices limit which I never even knew existed (which is what killed my beloved Wheatley model).
I don't know. I haven't decided anything yet, honestly.

Well I know how it feels when people edit rape shit. That's why I only give the models I care about to people I know will respect my wishes. If others don't like it. Tough shit. You work hard on your models and people need to respect that. If they can't that means they just ruin it for everyone else.
Personally I like your models. I look forward to see what you do with them. Your pictures are amazing. Don't quit Angel. I'll miss ya~

Well I can see where your coming from. Maybe for the time being just give them to friends and people you know you can trust? and if things go well and you feel alright with it open it to public distribution?

Well then, stake your claim. Just because the person claims that they made it, doesn't mean that everyone who sees it has to believe its true. If you leave a decent and noticeable comment people will be like, "Huh, what a jerk, they didn't even make this model..." If you spread the word that they took you for granted, other people will know and they wont ever take requests from that person again.
Like I said- Ask for help. If you don't want to do that, retrace your steps. Figure what when wrong, and where, then look at all possibilities to fix it. Did you forget to delete the physics before you imported a part? Did you accidentally delete a bone along the way? If you don't know how to use the mapping tool (for attaching polygons to bones) I can always teach you. The verticals limit can be fixed if you retrace your steps and delete the part that broke the limit. If you still have the model, I'd be more than willing to give you a hand.
