You know, I like the idea of Hunter going through a redemption arc and Dylan being the one to guide him through it. Hunter wasn't actually a villain. He was misguided and a little naive to what he was truly doing by helping Cruella. He knew when things were going to far and knew the dalmatians deserved better. I like to imagine that perhaps Hunter was so desperate for Cruella's love and respect that he decided that he'd do anything for it, even if it meant that he's help her catch the puppies. Of course, not even that turned out the way he hoped. But yes, I am glad he is on the dalmatians' side now. I think the redemption arc would be great since a lot of his character would go to waste otherwise. Also, if Dylan gets frustrated if Hunter is stumbling and misunderstanding what he is trying to teach him, I imagine Dizzy and Dee Dee encouraging Dylan to not give up on him. Mainly since they're the puppies who trust Hunter the most out of all of them and would be thrilled to have him stay as a friend and possibly as their human\pet. Perhaps that's wishful thinking, but that's the thing. There are a lot of possibilities and potential here that I hope the writers take advantage with some of it. I may not be super into this show, but I will say that I like where it's going and I hope it's second season does well overall.

The Season 1 finale was probably a turning point for Dylan - the righteous fury building within him over what Cruella did and tried to do to him and his family (plus likely having to help the badly-damaged Hunter build a new life for himself) will push out his fear and make him more courageous than before.

anger may not be the way, but it what keeps us going, to stop her evil deeds. to keep moving forward, that is what we were taught to do.

I suspect a lot of Season 2 is going to be "the Dalmatians trying to stop Cruella from hurting others" (mostly through continued meddling by the sphinx cat that had been Hunter's before he switched sides). Cruella has been hunting Dylan's family for five of their generations now, and the righteous fury ignited within him over what she did and tried to do in the Season 1 finale will drive out his fear.
This goes double if Dylan becomes Hunter's primary friend and mentor as the latter moves to a more heroic role - seeing how badly Cruella messed him up would only increase Dylan's determination to stop her.

it would be way interesting when hunter confronts Cruella for a cool showdown. that or someone who is related with roger or Anita and their kids.
