Howdy - I don't often draw pirates, it's not particularly a subject that holds much interest for me, but I started drawing this guys weird face, and as I was drawing his body I found him becoming more and more Pirate like. I've been trying to sketch more slowly and think more about every line, so rather than do lots of roughs designing a pirate and his pose, this was just a one off drawing, done in 1 take on the sofa. Turned out ok, so off to photoshop! Little while later and here we go....got a few more in this vein coming laters
