I play with the thought to make a Patreon site. This is the first tier dragon. It's the happy little dragon ^^

Also, I really love your avatar... I wanted a more detailed animated avatar for my profile, but it seems I'm limited to 50x50 pixels which makes anything other than pixel art look horrible. So does this mean Core members get higher res with animated avatars?

I've uploaded the avatar through Deviantart-Eclipse in 100x100. I think everyone can do that. However in the classic view my avatar still gets scaled down to 54x53. I also experimented a lot to get it look suitable in this resolution.

Eclipse is the new UI for DA. You can activate it at top right of the page. At the left from the user icon.
Personally I don't like it that much at this point, so I switched back after I uploaded the avatar.

Why would it let you upload a 100x100 animated avatar but the classic skin does not? It makes no sense. And Yeah when I tried to log in on my account on another PC I saw the new skin.. it's awful and takes way too long to load.

Well thats how I did it. But it makes sense since the avatar is much bigger in Eclipse. I also think the devs don't mind that this is exploitable, since the impact is not that big.
