FULL-VIEW pls.
Standing in front of Torun's city hall in the middle of the marketplace.
(I hope you know who he was and what he did...)
The latin inscription on the monument means: "Nicolaus Copernicus of Torun, set the Earth in motion, called the Sun and the heavens to a halt".

He has this orange sash worn on him. It's the symbol of Poland sympathizing with the Ukrainian struggle for real democracy.. you know what is happening. A lot of Polish monuments of local heroes in different cities are wearing this sash now.

Taking it was ultimately painful... I don't have a tripod.. and the lighting required longer exposure.. I don't know how many blured photos I took before this one...
