IM SO EXCITED!X and Y comes out tomorrow!
I'm getting Y
I drew this today while waiting in excitement for the release of Pokemon X and Y tomorrow.
I redesigned the male trainer a little bit. And these are the Pokemon I'm planing on getting.
This took me about all day because the program I usually use to draw wasn't working so I had to use Gimp 2.6. And after having it for over 3 years, I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.
I gave him goggles for when he's rolling around on his skates, wireless headphones(cords get in the way) just cause. Gave him a hoodie with a pocket and rolled up his sleeves. I also put some buttons on his bag like i have, And all the buttons on the bag I actually own. I also put a little pokeball on the sole of his shoe.

One of the things I notice that needs some work are folds. These tutorials kitten-chan.deviantart.com/art… , www.mightyartdemos.com/mightya… are good enough to help you with that. Another thing I think would be good would be to look at is lighting/color. This tutorial is a really great place to start: www.deviantart.com/art/How-I-S…
Even doing something as simple as changing the color of the shadows can add a lot of depth to a figure. The only other thing I would suggest is checking out animal anatomy,but that's only if you want to make more stylized or realistic pokemon.

I'm getting Pokemon X. I saw the spoilers of the final evos, so I'm now torn between Froakie/Fennekin :/ Originally, I was planning on Fennekin but Froakie looks so badass oTL.
