Back story:

Born to a wealthy family, Stream was raised in a life of luxury but grew bored of the high class in her teens. Eventually she found excitement in the sport of Extreme Gears and was determined to participate, however her parents disapproved of such a hobby forcing her to keep this interest a secret, sneaking out to see races and buying own gear boards and learning to ride behind their backs. Things took a turn when her family discovered this secret and were furious she was wasting money to follow the sport and risking shaming the family name. She was given an ultimatum; either give up the hobby or be disowned. Stream chose the latter option and thanks to a lawyer she was given a small fortune to help her start her new life. Despite being bored of the high class elite, she was still accustomed to the luxuries it brought and was well aware that her small fortune won't last her long so she started taking part in Extreme Gear competitions, climbing the leader boards an attracting sponsors, easily maintaining her life style of luxury and excitement. Her latest sponsor is based in the Casino Night Zone where she races as their current champion. This is where she comes across the likes of Umbra (who at the time was infiltrating the Casino to save his friends as part of Team Gamble) who quickly becomes Stream's rival in racing after he narrowly beats her. This event makes Stream realise how easy she's had it in the Casino Racing circuit as no other racers excited her anymore. She soon crossed paths with Talon the Raven who was also an acquaintance (former enemy) of Umbra's, and the two worked together to foil a plot by the Night Wings cult. Stream decided to join Talon's group (which include Gale the Roc and Rhymer the Wisp) for the promise of excitement and another chance at a rematch against Umbra.

Personality: At first glance Stream comes off as a high class and slightly spoiled, but despite this Stream has had to deal with real life for some time, working to maintain her small fortune via racing and making deals with Sponsors. She is really into Extreme Gears and admires the machines despite not knowing how to build or repair them herself. While at times she can act a bit snobbish it's never at the expense of treating others as inferior (unless it's smack talking other racers she competes against). She loves the thrill of a good race and will even ignore if she gets dirty afterwards.

After cutting ties with her family she harbours some resentment towards them for not accepting who she was and forcing her to make the choice, while she doesn't regret her decision and small part of her does miss her family.

Creator’s Notes:

Me and some friends were putting together a sort of Secret Freedom Fighter inspired team made up of three of our characters, the Team was called Team Gamble and they each had gambling game inspired code names; Umbra was Red Bingo, Stryke was Yellow Slots and Carly was Green Roulette. The setting for their mission was Casino Night Zone as they tried to save their friends from a group of wealthy and crooked business men and women like Breezie the Hedeghog. Over time my friends purchased character adopts to use as antagonists/rivals to the group and I wanted one of my own too. After missing out on a few adopts that would have been fun I lucked out on a Secretary Bird adopt that was described as an Extreme Gear fan and lover of luxury, and from there the ideas rolled in on what kind of character I wanted her to be.
