Commission for Snakeman12 , who wanted me to draw a Shattered Glass version of Optimus Primal from Beast Wars. The first part is his robot mode. This is his vehicle mode. As for his backstory, it goes like this:

"With the defeat of the Autobots by the Decepticons in the Great War their descendants the Maximals live on a Cybertron dominated be the descendants of the Decepticons the Predacons. The mech originally named Primal was a member of one of the few military starships the Maximal forces had left and was long displeased with the status quo. To him the Maximals lived as second-class citizens on a decadent Cybertron, ruled by the Predacons rather than the Maximals. He longed for the days when the Maximals could rise up and take Cybertron for themselves, but had little hope that the current Maximal leaders would ever bring this about. After a long time of enduring these feelings and the orders his captain Primal staged a mutiny with the rest of the crew, dubbed himself "Optimus Primal", and turned pirate, hoping to at least live on his own terms."

"After years of successful raids Primal and his crew really struck gold when they where tipped off by one of their frequent clients about a Preadcon ship containing a trove of stasis pods and a recently recovered object described as "the Golden Disk". Successful taking the ship's haul and, after time spent decoding the disk, it was discovered it had coordinates to a planet not on any star map. However before they could properly calculate a transwarp jump to the coordinates a Predacon Space Patrol Ship which had been hunting them caught the Maximals by surprise! The two ships fought during the jump and the two ships crashed onto a planet with seemingly abundant amounts of Energon! The Maximal ship crashed into what appeared to be an abandoned city and after a bit of exploring found a massive and somehow still function super computer that gave them strange new vehicle modes that also simultaneously protected them from Energon radiation! Now stuck in their own war against the Predacon Crew Optimus Primal leads from the front, but yet he cannot shake the feeling something is amiss and that there is more to this planet then meets the eye."
