Description And is done. All specs are on the image. This using texture 1 out of 2.

Had a bit of problems with this one's normal map. It keep looking different on the render than what it look like on the actual file.

Do you make the texture/bump maps separately or do you do it in PSD whereas every layer is a map?

I usually do the texture then make a separate group just for the bump, sometimes I just save it as TGA then open it on PS and just make it black and white, do a few adjustments where needed, then use the nVidia filter [link] to make it into a bump map.

If you do the bump on the same file as the texture you need to merge the layers. Since sometimes this takes off some effects or blending applied to the layers I prefer to save it as a TGA once it looks good and use the nVidia filter.

I had originally planned for it to open. Had get rid of that in order to be below the polygon limit though...

Is for a class and we are making our models under the poly limits some game studios use for the different models that go into the game. For each assignment we are given different photos and we have to pick one and make it look as good as possible under the polygon limit with the texture size that is given to us. The texture size for this one was 512x512 and we have to use diffuse, specular, and normal textures...
