Blame English Composition I for this one. In the class we were reading "Full Body Burden", and toward the end of the book, it talked about how bad the Plutonium radiation was.. So, I decided to sketch a bust real quick of a new evil dragon. I liked it enough to outline and to try some new shading on it. It really helps bring it out with the dark background and I intend to refine it and use it for future drawings as well. I still need to work on the bottom jaw angle thing, but I think the rest of it came out well enough. I finally remembered to add marks around the snout to better show the snarling and scrunching of the nose. I intend to do a fullbody design of him sometime down the road, but I hope you like this one in the meantime.

Ok so on the front of the horns, it seems as though you are suggesting that the skin of the dragon is thin. I don't really know how to explain this well, but look at the second claw on this sheet and apply it to your horns:

It's better, yeah, but in this screenshot i.imgur.com/kM2i3Vq.jpg I turned off the BG to make it easier to see that when I turn off the lineart, parts of it look blobby and strange. I don't know how to fix it. I'd really love to do lineless, but I just don't like how that looks.

Actually, that looks really good. If parts of it seem blobby, try deepening or sharpening the shadows. But in my opinion, the lineless version looks awesome.

It does? Stuff looks really off and I'm not quite sure how to line-less in the eye. The blobby parts are weird things with the coloring, not the shading, I don't think.
