Description Okay, I know this is a little sketchy.. but I put so much time and effort into the detail of the scales and all, it DESEARVES to be a deviation.

This is talon's dragon from, which I sometimes call DJ, which is kinda long story ^^()
Anywho, I had always refured to her as a 'snake skin' dragon, you know, a dragon with smooth skin, though, when I thought about it, it just didn't seem to work.. so I started adding details to the sketch I was already working on. And well, this came out
I must say, I'm quite pleased with it, hense why I'm uploading it as a deviation.

I love it. The pose is awesome, makes it look like it's protecting something, and the scales are really cool. I can't make scales like that. Awesome job!!

It took me forever to get the face right..
Snarling faces are so hard to do, especially on dragons, cus you gotta figure out how that long snout scrunches up and all.. heh

I get excited whenever I see some graphite art..I don't see that style as much anymore

I use graphite a LOT, I've done some detailed works, with just graphite heh.

Yes I enjoy using graphite myself, I don't like coloring since I suck and one mistake can ruin it forever.

xD Its nice to know that there are other graphite artists out there, I enjoy the manipulation with graphite and makes the art more detailed easily.

I think graphite is a nice medium.. I look it as.. not as messy charcoal, lol ^^
It's easy to use.. and easy to fix, heh.
though, I'm also good with color.. when using, like.. colored pencils.. lol ^^
