Description
Working on poses and anatomy, so have another picture of Fang stretching. XD I kinda like how I shaded him, with less lighting than what I normally do.Fang belongs to me.

just out of curiostiy, how long does a drawing like this take you to complete?

Hmmm. I never really keep track of how long it takes me. I drew this out on paper first and it took a few minutes. Then I'd probably say doing it on the computer takes maybe an hour or two (maybe more), depending on how much detail I want to put in the shading. I should probably time how long it takes me just for fun. XD
Now I did attempt a semi-realistic drawing of my mom's chihuahua, and just doing the strands of fur alone took a couple of hours.. XP It didn't turn out very well on the face.. XD

ok cool i´m always interesting in seeing how quick artists draw so i get an better idea if i´m too slow. I mean there´s no too slow but if you have several ideas you want to draw but it takes at least 5 hrs for a single one to be done it sorta sucks ^^ but two hours is a good time for such a drawing
yeah realistic fur takes aaaages but it´s even worse with feathers and worst with scales i reckon. I tried doing simple scales with my crocodile drawing and the face itself (about the only part with neat scales) already took ages o.O

Yeah, you just have to work at your own pace. I think if you draw enough, then you'll start getting faster with getting them done, or slower depending on how fast you did things originally. XD
Oh gawd.. I bet! The scales do look nice though! I always run out of patience with scales and then they get pretty sloppy.. -_-'

true i usually do really detailed and semi-realistic stuff ( i think) so i´m bad at quick sketches or illustrations. There´s so many things i´d like to draw and show but i simply can´t afford putting so much time into all of them so i´m trying to find a way to make even sketches look presentable and good (as seen with many great artists) ^^
It always starts with "yay so much fun~" to "gosh can´t i just be done already -.-"
