Actually, I've already done a SG Lugnut concept my self. I just haven't any time to do anything with it.

My Lugnut was once an Autobot weapon, but when the Omega Sentinels were constructed he was found obsolete. So Magnus had him Dismantled, but Lugnut escaped before he could be taken offline. Still heavily damaged, he lived in isolation until Megatron's renegade army found him. He is then is convinced by Megatron to join his cause. Lugnut is a sort of solemn, noble like being. He know what he did in the past and he hates Himself for it. He kind of like Beast Wars Dinobot.

But the normal universe Lugnut is someone who is completely loyal to Megatron, to the point of particularly worshipping Megatron in public drawing great deal of attention to himself unless Megatron himself tell Lugnut to keep a low profile. What is the opposite to that. Anyway we don't know anything about lugnut's past prior to the Decepticons other than he was a Gladiator.

Of course we can keep our concepts. Maybe I can take some parts of your concept.

No. It wasn't supposed to be a homage but I thought reminded me of it did look like it when I was drawing him.
