richmond, ca looks a lot like this - all oil and chemical refineries.
i once wrote a story about it, there used to be a BBQ joint, there in the thick of it.

i'm sure the coloured one would be pretty spectacular, the blue sky, rust heaps and smokestacks of the port, and the coloured roofs of the suburbs
