My entry for ~WinterIsComing-fans 's contest. The theme was "Brothers", but brother and sister was allowed too. I am a bit late (the deadline was yesterday) but I hope they'll accept it, my connexion was down yesterday evening.
I'm putting this into scraps because I kinda rushed it, putting very little detail and only slightly suggesting a background in a few seconds with graphite dirty fingers. It swarms with mistakes, Arya's face is too big, her hands are draw outrageously lazily and she's not properly shaded, both her and Jon are way too tall and slim, the shading and the folds are extremely basic,... did I forget anything? Oh yeah, I was too lazy to shape my pencil's tip regularly, which explains why the lines look so crapy.

Anyway, this is supposed to be the scene in which Jon Snow, departing for the Wall for a lifetime service, bids farewell to his tomboy of a half-sister, Arya Stark. The poor girl has been again forced to take sewing (she hates needlework) lessons with that old hag septa Mordane, so she's not feeling well, until her half-brother offers her as a parting gift "Needle", a valyrian steel short blade he's had specially modified for her.
My two favourite characters from the series as they last see eachother, I really liked this scene, too bad I didn't have enough time/skill to make a better rendition of it.
